ES Elastomeric Firestop Sealant

ES Elastomeric Firestop Sealant: SpecSeal ES Sealant is a latex-based gun grade elastomeric firestop sealant designed for construction joint applications. Once cured, ES Sealant forms a flexible shield against the passage of fire and smoke. In dynamic joint conditions, ES Sealant is tested to accommodate up to 25% compression/extension of the installed joint width.

LC Endothermic Firestop Sealant | Firestop joint Sealant

SpecSeal® LC Sealant is a latex-based, high solids firestop compound. This material, when properly installed, will effectively seal penetration openings and joints against the spread of fire, smoke, hot gasses and water.
SpecSeal® LC Sealant is engineered to adhere well to virtually all construction surfaces and may be applied using a standard caulk gun or by troweling with a standard mason’s trowel or with a putty knife.
SpecSeal® LC Sealant dries to form a flexible shield against the propagation of fire. Its premium latex binder system is totally resistant to water and will not re-emulsify after drying. SpecSeal® LC Sealant is non-halogenated, contains no asbestos or inorganic fibers.
Applications: SpecSeal® LC Sealant is designed primarily for sealing construction joints and gaps as well as penetrations for noncombustible penetrants. SpecSeal® LC has been tested and approved for single metallic pipe penetrations up to 30” (762 mm) as well as multiple penetrants through both masonry and gypsum wallboard constructions. Additional systems have been tested for steel sleeved penetrations as well as some common electrical and communications cable penetrations and joint penetrations.

3M™ FireDam™ Spray 200 is a sprayable water-based material that dries to form a tough, elastomeric coating. This material is used to firestop perimeter joints (curtain wall), construction joints and through penetration openings. 3M™ FireDam™ Spray 200,when installed properly, will help control the transmission of fire, heat, and smoke before, during, and after exposure to fire.

Provides up to 4-hour fire protection in construction joints per ASTM E 1966 (UL 2079)

Provides up to 3-hour fire protection in perimeter fire barrier systems (curtain walls) in accordance with ASTM E 2307

Highly elastic sealer is compression/extension tested up to ± 50% of nominal joint width without cracking

Effective Fire Protection in a Flexible, Durable Coating
Formulated for flexibility that stays where it’s sprayed, our 3M™ FireDam™ Spray 200 controls the transmission of fire, heat, smoke and noxious gasses before, during and after exposure to fire. It provides up to 4-hour fire protection in construction joints per ASTM E 1966 (UL 2079) and up to 2-hour protection for through penetration systems per ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) & CAN/ULC-S115. It also provides up to 3-hour fire protection in perimeter fire barrier systems (curtain walls) in accordance with ASTM E 2307. This firestop coating is Ideal for sealing building joints, penetration seals and perimeter joints between fire-rated floors and fire-rated walls. It also minimizes noise transfer (STC Rating of 56 when tested in a STC 56-rated wall assembly).
